Symptoms of a Penile Yeast Infection
Many penile yeast infections show no symptoms. However, some symptoms you may experience are:
soreness, redness and severe itching on the head of the penis
You may experience just a couple of these symptoms or you may experience many of them depending on how severe your infection is. Rest assured, though, that not doing something about the yeast will allow it to just keep growing and you will just keep feeling worse and worse.
So as you can see treating a vaginal yeast infection with a tube of over the counter ointment is not going to even come close to solving the problem of yeast overgrowth in your system (and may actually wind up making it worse!!)
If you are experiencing any of the above symptoms you can check out the treatments page for the pros & cons of some common treatments, or read my story to see what finally worked for me to get rid of yeast infections for good.
